CHIEF INFORMATION OFFICER
ROCKWOOD SCHOOL DISTRICT (MO)
Deborah Ketring is the Chief Information Officer for Rockwood School District, which serves more than 21,000 students in suburban St. Louis, Missouri and is the third largest district in the state. She began working for the district in 1997, progressing from a part-time technician to CIO in 2017. The district's technology department total annual budget is just over $8M. Current responsibilities include strategic planning, budget management, instructional technology, information security, some physical security, and oversight of teams led by a Director of Technical Support and Coordinator of Information Systems. In addition, she co-chairs the Consortium of School Networks (CoSN) Leadership in Digital Learning workgroup and is a participating member of the CoSN Cybersecurity and professional learning groups. She is a member of the Cisco K-12 Advisory Council and Executive Exchange.
Deborah holds a Bachelor's degree from Ohio State University in Geology and Mineralogy, a MBA in Information Technology Management from Western Governors University and is a CoSN certified education technology leader (CETL).
